Remote Research Services
The Benson Ford Research Center offers a variety of services to assist you. Recognizing that making a visit to our Reading Room is not always possible, we offer a research service for off-site clients in which our professional staff will research a topic for you. Please contact us at research.center@thehenryford.org for more information.
Payment for one hour’s worth of research is required at the time of the request. Research fees may be waived for K-12 students, or for requests for information on an artifact donated by a family member.
We will make every attempt to assist you, but please be aware that paying for remote research does not guarantee we will be able to find the information you are looking for.
Research Charges
Individual - $35/hour
Commercial - $45/hour
Rush Fees - $65/hour
We accept both checks and major credit cards. Credit card information can be sent via fax to (313) 982-6244 or provided by phone at (313) 982-6020 and we will provide a receipt. Checks should be made out to The Henry Ford and mailed to:
